Three things that I think would be very beneficial to your board and give it a cutting edge:

1. Could you allow images to be copied and pasted into the file location like Kohlchan does instead of the user always having to save an image to their computer and then upload it?
2. Could you allow for file renaming in the file section (KC always calls c&p'd images 'Clipboard-#########')?
3. Could you also allow for a text box for an image location link to be posted, where the image in the link then becomes the image in the user's post? 4chon.net did this and I'm surprised that nearly a decade later no other board has done something like this.

Nice idea imo. I guess 2 is only useful for when you upload the files like stated in 1 and 3

What is the difference between 1. and 3.? Aren't both about inserting an image by URL?

I'm not that guy, but you can copy an image into the clipboard directly, which is different from copying a link to an image.
For example if 22chan had (1) I could copy an image I'm editing in paint and paste it in the file field directly without the need to save it as a file

>Could you allow images to be copied and pasted into the file location like Kohlchan does instead of the user always having to save an image to their computer and then upload it?
Its not that hard to click and select a file, you can also just drag and drop it if you're really that lazy

>Could you allow for file renaming in the file section (KC always calls c&p'd images 'Clipboard-#########')?

Rename the file on your desktop?

I've heard this suggestion before, i might do something like this in the future.

>Its not that hard to click and select a file, you can also just drag and drop it if you're really that lazy
Imagine you want to make a thread with an image from google images, or you're making a quick draw in a program and you want to use that
Normally you'd have to save the image, then find it in the file manager to post.
With this feature you can just Right click -> copy -> Rightclick -> paste. Plus you don't have to delete the file afterwards
It's not a revolutionary feature, it just makes it quicker sometimes
>Rename the file on your desktop?
Yeah, but it can be more convenient to rename it while posting, if for example you want a specific filename just this one time

I'm not insisting that these are very cool and necessary features, I'm just explaining why you might care. But of course it's work on your part and might not be worth it so whatever. It's entirely your decision. I don't mean to sound pushy

dont really think these are essential features, i might think about them again on a later occasion but for now i'm closing this thread
