So this sale is kind of shitty and many AAA games are not in sale, but let's see if somebody finds a good deal in some Indie or old game and share it with us.

Not fan of this genre, but this seems pretty good.

Postal 2 costs $0.99 (0.99€) atm (you should buy the Postal 2 + Paradise Lost DLC package). Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is also on -80% off, but that game is not everyone's cup of tea (it's rather grindy turn-based rpg with animu girls). And y-you can get 100% orange juice for $1.74 (1.74€).

For finding the best deals, I suggest you check the price history of the game(s) you are planning to buy on SteamDB (https://steamdb.info/) and consult this list of games that don't have other DRM mechanisms in addition to Steam itself: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Big_List_of_DRM-Free_Games_on_Steam

I totally forgot about Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (it currently costs $4.99 or 4.99€). It's a good RPG with vampires (but it isn't made for faggots).
You want to grab the unofficial patch because without it the game is broken: https://forums.planetvampire.com/bloodlines-tech-support/unofficial-patch-10-0-released!/
You should check the forums for newer threads for updates versions of the patch.

This also this has very fun mechanics and probably the best facial animations I have ever seen in games. A couple of warnings:

Firstly, do NOT pick Malkavian clan on your first playthrough because it add funny/weird dialog, however, some of the altered dialog also spoils some parts of the story and make it harder to follow.

Secondly do NOT pick Nosferatu clan on first playthrough since it alters and restricts the gameplay a lot (basically you must remain hidden. because of this you will miss a lot of things and quests).

i heard it was damn hard.

i don't have any good games that are for sale, but if i had to recommend some cheap-ish games that are really great:
Dead Rising (20 euro)
Max Payne (10 euro)
Quake (10 euro iirc)

i would get the retail version for Max Payne and Quake, but steam isnt a bad proposition, especially for Max Payne.
as for Quake, i would recommend playing it on a source port.

Personally, I always kill him. Why would the reincarnation of a great general let his former friends who betrayed and killed him live? Besides, it fits better with the lore, Vivec really doesn't seem the type to just abandon his people in the Oblivion Crisis and Red Year. Makes more sense that he died at the hands of the Nerevarine, and the Temple just covered it up to keep everyone from panicking.

Nah, Dagoth Ur is just a narcissistic idiot who misinterpreted CHIM, and in the end his hubris kills him. Using the Heart of Lorkhan always ends in disaster, true Godhood can only happen through mantling. The gods have ways of punishing those who steal power.

I agree, nevertheless, I feel sympathy for Dagoth Ur, for some reason (but I don't think he or the Sixth House were the good guys). I expected him to be a bit different on my first playthrough. He seems pretty patient and somehow almost like a bit fatherly(?) but he is also too pompous. But regarding the question in OP, I think it would make sense that Vivec died before the 4th era or during the beginning of the Oblivion Crisis. But it's a bit hard to decide whether Vivec killed by the Nerevarine or the Daedra. Also I forgot to post a link to a playlist I found on YouTube in my last post: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7En5ohTjD_X_1ry7kKoblLPDknNYlNEx

Now I want to play Morrowind again, so I thought I could make a "getting started" type of post for those who are interested.

Recommended Mods
ProTip: to install the plugins, just use 7-zip to extract the archives and copy the contents to the "Data Files" folder in your Morrowind installation directory. If you happen to know good mods and projects that I haven't listed here, please post them in this thread.

Better Dialogue Font: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/36873
Better Bodies (the zip also contains the non-lewd version): https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/3880
Blight Bounties: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45595
Tel Morgana: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43930/
The official mods from https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Plugins
and the Master Index journal fix from: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42482

If you want the unofficial patch, download Morrowind Patch v1.6.6 from the link listed in https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Morrowind_Patch_Project

Open The Morrowind launcher, select "data files" and check each plugin you wish to load and then launch Morrowind and quit immediately. Then use Mlox to sort the plugins https://github.com/mlox/mlox/releases
And finally, use the Morrowind Code Patch ( https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/19510/ ) to patch morrowind.exe to fix engine bugs and enable some quality of life enhancements (pls don't skip this. OpenMW doesn't need the Morrowind Code Patch, and in fact, OpenMW isn't even compatible with it.)

OpenMW ( https://openmw.org/ ) is a free and open-source reimplementation of the TES3: Morrowind game engine. You still need the data files (plugins) to play the game. What makes OpenMW interesting, is the fact that it's better optimized for modern hardware and operating systems. OpenMW supports Linux, MacOS and Windows. OpenMW also aims to provide extended modding capabilities for Morrowind and a better Construction Set.

Getting Started
If you haven't played TES3: Morrowind yet, I recommend you give Morrowind a try because it's an amazing game. I suggest you pick Dark Elf or Imperial as your character's race (as they are versatile). Then pick one or two offensive skills (for example Short Blade and Marksman) and one armor skill (Unarmored, Light Armor, Medium Armor or Heavy Armor) as your primary skills. Consult following pages from UESP for more information:
If you want video tutorials, I recommend this tutorial series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB472F7A0E57751B7

May you walk on warm sands.

>Vivec killed by Daedra
I doubt that, even without the Heart he is fairly powerful. unless Dagon either came to Vivec himself or sent a really massive army just for him, he would survive
>using weapons instead of the best magic system in TES
silly s'wit
