>>32Open The Morrowind launcher, select "data files" and check each plugin you wish to load and then launch Morrowind and quit immediately. Then use Mlox to sort the plugins
https://github.com/mlox/mlox/releasesAnd finally, use the Morrowind Code Patch (
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/19510/ ) to patch morrowind.exe to fix engine bugs and enable some quality of life enhancements (pls don't skip this. OpenMW doesn't need the Morrowind Code Patch, and in fact, OpenMW isn't even compatible with it.)
OpenMW (
https://openmw.org/ ) is a free and open-source reimplementation of the TES3: Morrowind game engine. You still need the data files (plugins) to play the game. What makes OpenMW interesting, is the fact that it's better optimized for modern hardware and operating systems. OpenMW supports Linux, MacOS and Windows. OpenMW also aims to provide extended modding capabilities for Morrowind and a better Construction Set.
Getting StartedIf you haven't played TES3: Morrowind yet, I recommend you give Morrowind a try because it's an amazing game. I suggest you pick Dark Elf or Imperial as your character's race (as they are versatile). Then pick one or two offensive skills (for example Short Blade and Marksman) and one armor skill (Unarmored, Light Armor, Medium Armor or Heavy Armor) as your primary skills.
