Im browsing different chans right now (4c being dead and all) and this seems like a nice place, but maybe a little dead? Are you guys watching seasonal anime at all? Or is this site more for meta topics about anime?

Im still in the process of watching all the first episodes of stuff that catched my eye. Sticking around for a second/more episodes so far are:
Sword of the Demon Hunter
First episode was okay, i liked the beginning but the last 15 min or so were just dumb and way over the top. Will watch a second one to see where it goes.
Lazarus
First episode was kinda nothing, if the second is the same i might drop it.
WITCH WATCH
Idk, a bit shallow, but had its moments. if it gains track it might be fun.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
I read the manga to some point, its nice to see it animated, first episode was very faithful.
KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE
Not really sure where this is going, i like the setting and hope we see more of it.
TO BE HERO X
Not really Anime, but first episode was decent, reminds me of arcane style-wise. Second episode will show what the story actually wants.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX
I like Mecha so whatever. First episode was alright, 3D trash as always.
YAIBA: Samurai Legend
I liked it, colorful and nicely animated. I've never seen the old one, might look into that too.

Idk, kinda ok, but not that interesting. If the second episode is as the first i might drop.

I got burnt pretty bad by gundam requiem for vengance lol (even though its not an anime) so i pretty much abandoned the idea to check out anything new.
I kinda want to check out the anime adaption of all you need is kill although i'm slightly cautious.

I don't know some of the people that I've seen here over the years that browse this website could be in their 50s - 70s like for some reason it constantly attracts a bunch of baby boomers who make a post about this website on their facebook page to share with their baby boomer friends... That one quote about this being an old internet retirement home was not a joke I guess. Just a recent example would be that entire SNL thread who attracted the attention of the baby boomers on 8kun >>>/b/4016/#4320
I do not really watch seasonal anime unless my friend presents it to me and we watch together. He is the "friend" I refer to in subsequent sections.

I am new to Gundam and my friend brought me to a viewing of the Episode 0 film for GQ. I was entirely enamoured with what I was watching with the Char section of the show, only to suddenly find myself entirely disinterested when it pivoted to the end of the prologue into your generic modern day yuri-bait anime. I thought the designs looked like Pokemon, and later learned they were in fact exactly that- by the person who does the Pokemon trainer designs in current day.

Minor interest due to its production, namely direction and fight choreography, but did not watch yet. I prefer my Bebops to be largely unrelated between episodes until the midway point so that I can sink my teeth in after I've decided I'm committed. Trigun had a similar approach to story telling where the main narrative doesn't happen until you're already used to the overall show and setting.
I will give it a chance.

The same friend who brought me to Gundam spoke of how much he liked the design of the pink haired girl with skimpy clothes. Truly I loathe his tastes at times. I am unsurprised he liked the other half of the GQ film.
