Yet another 22chan minecraft server. I would've liked to make it in an older version but the server provider we'll be using only fully supports more modern versions.
Type of server: Forge 1.16.5. Latest Forge version. Only two mods are required (for now):

Cracked clients are welcome, SKlauncher is recommended (https://skmedix.pl/)
Rules: Don't break the site's rules (the ones that apply, that is).
Due to the way the server provider works, it can't stay on 24/7. If the server is down and you want to play, say so in the thread and it'll be opened shortly after.

I appreciate the offer anon, but I can't help but feel like it's lost on this place. Nobody here's managed to put together a proper gaming server or session. Making a 1.16 server that requires mods probably doesn't help with that.
One day we might be able to put together a good Beta or 1.3 server, but that's a pipe dream of its own

The problem with old verion servers is that, as much as I like them, you either have to host them yourself or pay for hosting because most free hosting options are absolute shit (3 players with 1GB RAM for example) and the decent ones have some imperfections that can ruin the enjoyment of hosting that range from horrible like having to renovate the server manually every other hour it's online or to extremely mild ones like not being able to upload your own files to the server and instead have to rely on their limited mod gallery.
Another problem is cracked clients, since most players play like this (specially now since microdick began worsening minecraft even more) you must have a authentification/password system to prevent shitshows like someone just logging in with an admin's nick and the fucking everything up. This is one of the reasons I had to go with 1.16.5. Originally I was planning to host 1.7.10 with some mods I like but the auth/login mods available didn't work as intended (one even crashed the server on startup lol) so I didn't want to risk such a big security vulnerability so I went with 1.16.5 since it's the only post 1.8 version I like and it also has SimpleLogin, which is subtle and effective.

Is the info on >>1 still good? I've been trying to join but my launcher's being weird, trying to troubleshoot before I wipe and go for a fresh install.
nvm I just made my own server with the same settings as this one and it's still giving me the same errors, I'm going to just do the fresh install and cross my fingers.

It is usually two people which is pretty decent because we don't get in each others way and it is a comfy chat if we decide to talk.
Hope the server's doing okay. Haven't been able to play in forever but I think that world is beautiful and should be played while it's still around

Here it is. If for some reason it spawns you in spectator mode and you are unable to change the gamemode, just open the world in LAN and activate cheats from there.
The server has been left gathering dust in the last few months due to a loss of interest and real life stuff from myself and other former regular players. I doubt I'll pick it back up any time soon. regularly at least.
