Dude rolling the r with your throat is really bad, it gives you higher risk of throat cancer. It has to be done with your tounge man. Also most latin americans spanish speakers dont roll the r anyways so its not that useful of a skill
I've never learned how to roll my R's or even whistle. Is that particularly abnormal? How are you supposed to learn? You can't have somebody else do it for you, and just having it described to me doesn't help at all. I get by just fine without it but every person I tell that too acts super surprised like it's supposed to be obvious how to do it. I just don't get it
