When things make you happy, post them! Then the thread will be happy :)
I have eaten well lately. I had a great pizza, steak, and even some cornbread. I drank good beer, too. My cat makes me happy when she has fun with her cat toys. What's making you happy?

I love my cat as well! I love comfort, whether it's spending time with my cat, listening to music while driving, getting paid, playing games, etc. My joy comes from the little things.

Making new friends is difficult, but I managed to meet nice people a few weeks ago by making the first move. We will meet in person soon and get to know each other better.
However, due to social tensions in my past that ended certain friendships for good, I've become a bit more cautious. While it's sad to think about losing friends as we get older, there are those who say it's normal and healthy. I'm still suffering... BUT I'm glad I took the opportunity.

It is normal. When I was a teenager and into my early 20s I had a really tight group of friends. I fully expected we'd be friends forever. I'm in my late 20s now and I haven't spoken a word with most of them in two to three years.

I got into drugs, turned into an addict and they were uncomfortable with it so we drifted apart. I kicked the poison but the relationship never healed.

Another thing is that it's very unlikely you and your childhood/teenage friends will stay close friends after you both mature into adults. It's just a part of growing up. In my experience you don't start knowing who you really are until after 25. I didn't really figure it out until age 27.
You change so much during that time. You just become different people. You don't do the same shit you used to do at 22. Back then me and my friends used to eat shitloads of junk food and binge watch movies. How long you think that could be kept up? Eventually you gotta get real and figure shit out. Once you do it just takes you to different places. I've tried patching things up with them but it never works. There's no bad blood between us, they're just not the same guys I used to know. The vibe just isn't the same. Last time we all met I made a racist joke and they looked at me like I just stabbed their mother. I expected them to know I was only joking. Guess not.
The three of them are still good friends to this day which occasionally makes me feel very bitter.

This does not apply to your best friend/s. You probably had one or two of these kinda people in your childhood. That friend who stood by your side no matter what happened, that one friend you'd look for when you walked into school in the morning. That one dude/girl who you basically spent half your childhood/teenage years hanging out with, that will always be a real nigga. You won't hang out every day like you used to but you'll still be friends. You'll maybe meet up two or three times over the year but every time it'll be like you just met yesterday. I have two people like that in my life. I've known one of them since the third grade. The other since the fifth. We're all getting close to our 30s now and we still keep tabs on each other. Never let those people go.

Samurai Jack is a really good show and I'm glad I can get my super young siblings to watch it. Their parents are very censor happy but I'm trying to expose them to more "mature" media. Just because kids pretend to play with guns doesn't mean they're going to start shooting each other with the real thing.

suggestion: batman the animated series (DCAU by paul dini is pretty damn good in general), Sym-Bionic Titan, star wars the clone wars, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes/Avengers Assemble and 90's spiderman and x-men cartoon series (fuck if i remember if the gi goe or he- man cartoons where good since im a poorfag and they hardly aired re-runs of that shit on tv)
As for anime, F-Zero Farukon Densetsu. (also speed racer)
Mature, Moralistic and Fun while being safe for kids in that they aren't pornographic but they still cover mature subject matter and contain minor gore as things should be.
as for manga depending on how old they are (maybe like 13 years old ) All You Need Is Kill

I've been taking a drawing class at a community college. I've had some trouble keeping up. It's a combined class with many skill levels, but even with the beginners I feel a little lost since they have tattoos and colored hair and graphic hoodies and pronouns and somehow use these skills to be insanely good at art. Yesterday we did some contour drawings of teapots and one of mine got a lot of attention for its style, most specially from the professor and one of the art majors who's so good he's basically an unofficial TA. I made it into a display in one of the hallways, so now I'm feeling like I'm pretty good about it.

After spending less than an hour working, I earned 50 bucks for a gig job. As a matter of fact, I just emptied an attic that was barely stocked to begin with, and I had to move tables. I'm used to being in arid areas where rain usually never shows
But in the rare cases that it does rain, it always puts me in a good and motivational mood
I find myself always wanting to go outside and walk during the rain
Rain clouds have always had a mesmerizing appeal to me due to their array of grey shadings, I've always found it pretty looking
But at the same time, I can totally understand people who hate the rain, especially if they live in areas where it always does so

Before I went to bed last night I fed my cats treats. It was cute to see them eat and watch how they eat. My bigger cat eats faster and is less methodical than my younger cat. Small parts of the treat fall out of my older cat's mouth. My younger cat must like treats also because he ate those treat shards.

Meeting cats make me happy. Its sad to see all the local cats gone but at the same time i think stray cats have a shorter lifespan and are more likely to suffer so i guess its for the best. Its still nice to see them when they do come by. It makes me happy going for a walk and seeinf cats chilling by the windowstill inside peoples house. I think she was awoken from a nap but i guess the gaze can mean a corneal ulcer. The eyes where glazed so now i'm kinda sad and i hope someone owns her so she can get help. Either way she just kinda layed there and after i walked away a tiny bit i looked back she got up and was kinda fat.
I was happy untill i started googling about squinty cats and now i'm sad.

my neetdom is slowly coming to a close, soon i will get a job and move out. it was great at first but my family life is getting.. painful.
the job i'm getting is something my parents not only support but will pay for = trade school. what trade? fuckin rv inspectior lol apparantly that job pays cash money and we actually have zero of that in the local area. on one hand i feel kinda happy but i dont know if its too good to be true.

RV inspection sounds like a great career man, many places you can go with that. My Dad was an inspector for government housing, the knowledge he got from that made him the best handyman around. Congratulations, and hope it goes well for you

He dealt with rogue boa constrictors and ghost piss so I guess it wouldn't be the craziest thing

Is this ghost piss rare or a common thing? I am also wondering how the term ghost piss has gotten coined.

Either the grandson was an environmentalist and was trying to lesson the flushes or he couldn't aim lol.

the downside of RV inspection is the sheer fucking cost of all the training, and the tools, and then traveling to the school in texas. i'm gonna be in severe debt but it's something i can actually work out of so i'm not scared or anything like that. i've been in situations like this before so it's not too hard to earn all the money back. i'm happy to be honest that there is movement in my life, and yeah all of the skills i'll be learning is actually fucking usefull like reparing AC units and such.

I managed to watch some anime after a five month hiatus. This is a good development because I was beating myself not watching anything all year. Anime is a good escape from a hard life. I also managed to make progress in a game I've been stuck in for a week.

I love cat videos too. Cats come across as so innocent and superior to us humans. I hope you can arrange a cat as soon as you can.

i had to take care of a kitty for a week once, she was very gentle and kind. she hated baths but i figured out some stuff like bringing in fun toys for her to play with and making sure the bathroom was clean and buying some cat safe soap since the owners where retards and it worked out well.

Its's nice seeing cats show up. There was a time where there where no animals to be expected at all in my life so its nice to see them every now and then.

Skunks and raccoons show up on my lawn, and they try to hide all the time. It must be nice to see animals who don't try to hide.

After a long week of wagecucking today, I had a nice session of playing vidya. Today vidya hit the right spot and it reminded me of how vidya can allow me to unwind, relax, and have fun. It has been a while since I have had so much fun playing games.
