Your favorite thread from /pol/ before it was shut down returns. I'm going to be making as many translations as possible and posting the ones from the previous thread in here. You can also contribute by posting what you like found on the 政歴M@D tag on Nico Nico Douga: https://www.nicovideo.jp/tag/政歴M%40D or request a translation to be made. I will mention that not everything is found on the 政歴M@D tag regarding Political History M@D sometimes it helps translating a historical event or person into Japanese and then putting it into Nico Nico Douga search next to the "MAD" tag.
The video I am starting off with is not exactly a translation as there was nothing to translate apart from the original Nichijou lyrics so I made a bunch of tweaks to it.

This song is originally from Fate/Apocrypha called 英雄 運命の詩 and it just fits in so perfectly here. It's probably the best video I managed to find on the Political History M@D tag and I always get extreme goosebumps when I watch it.

I forgot I had a bunch of these downloaded but these used to be available on Youtube as far as I know until they got all taken down, but I have got no clue what channel it was that made the translations.

Finally, the new VOCALOID voice bank has arrived... Oh, is it common for the author to train the voice bank themselves? I'm not entirely sure, but the Excellency sang this song for me. I made this as a practice for sound editing, so the content is incomplete and there are noise issues, but I'll strive to improve. Sound editing requires more attention than video editing, I must say. I've been receiving comments requesting songs every time, so I hope I can use it effectively.

I absolutely love I try to sing videos that go the extra mile to change the lyrics completely, and this author is pretty famous for doing exactly that since he has a lot of I try to sing videos just like this.

The video refers to a historical region called Cyrenaica which was located in present-day Libya. It features the Desert Fox (Rommel) on the North African front beating the crap out of British forces, and it's made by the same guy as the previous video. Also, now that I'm looking at the footage in this it reminds me of my attempts to find numerous historical footage clips featuring Rommel, Hans Ulrich Rudel, and other notable combatants from the German side during World War II. However, I was frustrated by the excessive watermarks placed by companies, seemingly aiming to extract as much money as possible from you for a short clip... I find it puzzling why such practices are permitted in the first place especially when it comes to historical footage?
I rarely play a parody song of the North African front on the balalaika. Probably everyone has thought of this joke at least once... I used to say that I didn't care about the North African front, but people's interests often change. The German voice in the interlude is the actual voice of Field Marshal Rommel.

Probably one of my most favorite I tried to sing videos on this tag especially with this fucking lyrics, and absolutely beautiful voice that takes it serious. Also the background video with Vladimir Putin crying his eyes out because of the Black Jack Bomber, laughed myself almost to death the first time I saw this. Also, I did try watching the new Black Rock Shooter anime but it's a complete mess especially with the poor animation quality, a fucking shame.
Uraji Miru rode on a bomber for me, singing "Black★Jack Bomber" with the lyrics that were supposed to be attached to (sm7032206)! Unfortunately, I had to give up reproducing the gun drum due to the loss of the original data.If you're wondering what he means by gun drum go to the original video at 3:02 (sounds fantastic)

I don't understand the need for licensing either since by now the footage is way too fucking old to even have a point of copyright or whatever in the first place. Maybe this is different but the copyright of Winnie the pooh expired and became public domain and that was made in 1926, so why not war footages, and footages taken by civilians? For a game like metal gear 2, (and the others that contains licensed historical photos and videos) if its connected to the microsoft store or playstation or even steam it means if the licence is not updated the game is taken away even if you own a copy on that platform. You'd have to own a copy of the older game on ps2 or whatever. IF the full unedited footages isn't freely available, How can one learn from history? and make funny edited videos?

Regarding this video I wanted to talk a bit about the album. The person who's behind this song is actually とろ美 (Toromi), a denpa song artist, and you might actually know her given that she made her first debut as a voice actress who voiced Mii from Popotan and later she even also sang her own version of Caramel Dansen (She was also involved with groups like IOSYS). I absolutely love almost every single album that was produced in her name who I would probably say she is my 2nd favorite denpa artist next to MOSAIC.WAV. There are really only a few parts I liked in this like Bon Appetit S, Freedom Dive (The latter half), The Story You Don't Know but the other stuff is just non-sensical flashy YTPMV-style cover 原曲不使用 trash. It would probably be better to just cut those parts out and post them here instead.
