>"What is this?"
22Chan Town Hall was suggested in 2019, but was ignored. In 2020 it was mentioned again but nothing was done about it. 2021 came along and a thread was made but nothing came of it, And later the site shut down. This time, We are actually doing it.
Now back to the main question. Moot had a regular townhall where everyone on 4chan would gather on IRC to have a semi-meta roundtable discussion with all of the userbase, And later it moved to the /q/ board and the format changed to a single thread, We plan on doing the latter. The discussion in the thread can be serious and candid, or just general discussion. (good place for newcomers to get a QRD on 22chan and to know the staff better.)
This thread is to better refine the idea, Suggestions on what to do, Add, Or change, and even polls to decide stuff.
Here are the previous poll results.

What time should 22Chan Town Hall take place?
I.E When are you available? The time zone is in Central European Time.
First place: 9:00 PM
Second place: Staff should decide

How long should 22Chan Town hall last?
First place: 30 Minutes
Second place: For the whole day

When should 22Chan Town Hall occur?
First place: Staff should decide
Second place: Once weekly

Dispite the old results, I plan on setting up new polls. But i have a question. how long should voting last? How many days? Or months even?

We'll also need something like a timer in the blotter so we'll know when the town hall is happening

We are thinking of making a thread on either /b/ or /meta/. Also Should we re-use the thread every town hall untill it reaches the maximum amount of posts (after town hall we would lock the thread) or should we make a new one every town hall?

Probably on /meta/ and no I don't think reusing the same thread makes much sense since it would probably just get really confusing in the long run. /meta/ does not have that many threads to begin with so it is a lot less likely to get lost on there or maybe instead of this it would be better to create a new board for it where thread creation is disabled? Just maybe have it not appear in the board list but somewhere else like Information.

/meta/ because /meta/ is used for a good reason.

As the days draw closer, Have you guys considered what you want to discuss? Get a notepad and write stuff down whenever you can think of something or think would be interesting. Do you have any questions you would want to ask? Do you know?

I really appreciate the quality of work and caretaking done by the mods for this site.
I wasn't able to participate in the town hall because I was busy all day but I want to throw in my two cents. I think that anons are justified in being hesitant to partake in large community projects. Part of it is the uncertainty. Doing community projects is already difficult in an entirely anonymous forum, and it's made doubly difficult when there's only like, 20 regular posters at the absolute max. At the same time, there have been threads and events that have shown that people are willing to participate and put in effort for the community. I think that's actually very good, because even though there's only a few of us, it's the effort put forth that counts, rather than the numbers. Even though the attitude around the site can be rather grim at times, I think the future is looking bright.

Although there's not that much time left if you have any questions to ask the staff it wouldn't be a bad idea to prepare them before hand.
