this is actually interesting because i renember a tidbit from the early days of disney animation studio attempting to produce a serious cartoon and the problem was that everyone was used to silly rubber hose cartoons and knew little of basic anatomy so every attempt to produce something serious failed and it infuriated walt to no fucking end, but eventually they got their shit together and eventually produced snow white.
i'm reading the shiki manga and something i noticed that there was a heavy usage of realism in the foreground or on a character when they have to emphasize something.

remember that this thread is a safe space so those aflicted by that terrible substance can feel like they can share without being judged. I remember telling myself that i "needed" water, and that i "couldn't live without it", and it took me a while to realise that i had a problem. The problem is that drug addiction is normalised and even main stream. One can buy weed in a shop without a perscription, People literally are seeing ads for "whippits" and you can actually buy a fucking watermelon at the store for NINE dollars, imagine the gall. They call water withdraw "dehydration" for christ sake, Have we seriously failed as a society? I think the first chance of healing is to realise you have a problem and to take active measures to avoid getting high. I'm proud to say its been a week without me getting hydrated, I can tell i'm getting better because for once in my life my piss is amber color so clearly i'm flooding the toxins out of my system.
