something cool about clip studio paint is that you can scan your psychical art and upload it to clip studio paint and correct mistakes and other cool stuff.

Free music stuff
>DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio) is the best FOSS option I know of. Available on all common operating systems. Highly capable software, just don't pretend it's perfect.
https://lmms.io/download
>SF2 (Soundfont)
Instrument banks used in MIDI tracks
https://archive.org/download/free-soundfonts-sf2-2019-04
This has pretty much everything you could ask for, at least as a beginner. May take some hunting. Contains banks for consoles (N64, Wii, etc.), 8bit, Yamaha pianos, high quality orchestral samples, acapella, and more.
https://rkhive.com/
More old soundfonts
>VST (Virtual Studio Technology)
Audio plugins. Where an SF2 is a bank of recorded samples, a VST is akin to an actual instrument. Uses bespoke UI. Heavier in weight, but higher quality and better customization than SF2s.
http://wokwave.com/old-plugins/html/vst_instrument_plugins.html
A collection of drones, strings, organs, and so on with god-tier UI. Retro sci-fi kind of vibe, mostly inspired by 60s/70s analog synths. Super fun gizmos to mess with. Cromina, Estrima, and Viktor are my favorites. Free, but requires an email.
http://www.audionerdz.nl/index2.htm
Delay Llama. A true classic, 2002 era vocal synth. Looks like a funny bald monk.
https://www.plogue.com/products/alter-ego.html
https://www.plogue.com/products/voice-banks.html
Alter/Ego is a Vocaloid style plugin by French devs. Cool because it's FREE SHIT. Make sure to get both the Alter/Ego software and voice banks, each is useless without the other. The Plogue program folder will contain an AlterEgo folder, which will have a VST folder housing a .dll that can be opened in your DAW. Plogue>AlterEgo>VST

I was thinking that there is some NSFW content I want to post on 22chan but there had to be a creative way of being able to censor it so it doesn't break the rules. So I drew this which I originally took from the anime ハヤテのごとく! (Hayate the Combat Butler) where for example the protagonist had been cross-dressed in an episode (ep. 8 to be precise) and was attacked by a horny tiger... https://youtu.be/6iM4AK-sN1E?t=112 [Play] The character who is censoring the scene is called 自主規制君 (Jishukisei-kun -> Self-Regulation-kun) which is holding up a sign that says 「見せられないよ! 」-> "I can't show you!" and he appeared many more times throughout the anime censoring parodies with copyright issues, blood scenes, etc.
So because of how he looks somewhat similar to the Gedou-baby (Aka-san) on Nico Nico Douga he was used to censor some Pants Wrestling videos which then spread it to other fandoms as censoring material.
https://dic.nicovideo.jp/a/見せられないよ%21

So if you have anything that's too NSFW to be posted on 22chan I ask you to please use the "Can't show ya!" Niniba. Also feel free to also come up with your own creative censoring material.

I'm glad to see 22chan is still alive and OC keeps getting posted. I made this pixel art logo a long time ago. I feel like it's too small but maybe someone could use it. I might try to make a bigger and improved version later.

You can use pictures or draw to illustrate what's happening but it isnt necessary.

'Twas a grim day, when Fat Cat came to town. Fatipher was his given Christian name, but he was not a very Christian cat. He always found the things he took to be more valuable than the things he was given. So, he took the name of Fat Cat and it was Fat Cat that came to town.
Anonymous Thu 16/05/2024 6:12:33 AM 8 months ago No. 53
At the first sight of Fat Cat's unmistakable silhouette, crowds dispersed, shutters were closed, and curtains were drawn. Fat Cat didn't mind. He preferred it this way.
Apart from Fat Cat's own footfalls, the only sound that could be heard was the hum of a hurdy gurdy on the street corner. There sat old Skinny Kitty, cranking away obliviously, his upturned hat no fuller for it.

fat cat entered his apartment building, empty and gloomy. after climbing some stairs he reached his abode.
fat cat looked around his dismal room, in the corner was his motivational poster on the wall "hang in there human" with a man hanging by a noose around his neck

A while ago I made a neocities website for 22chan with the idea of having the account credentials shared openly so that everybody could join in on adding stuff to it. It worked nicely at first, but unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) somebody shitted it up. So now I'm the only one with access to it.
Despite that, I'd like to keep the original spirit of collaboration intact. So this thread is for suggesting edits, additions and anything you'd like to see on the site.
Maybe you could even download the site, make some local changes, upload the new version to catbox as a zip file and I can take a look at it and update the website.
Here's the site: https://22chan.neocities.org
Sorry for not making this sooner

I think it would be cool to add a column of the roman numerals II from top to bottom on the right side

I was thinking of having a "niniba shrine" with all image of niniba, but i was also thinking of attempting to preserve 22 net character images but i dunno. I guess its something to debate. I guess the OC thing is good enough as is?

That's not a bad idea imo. I think more in general it would be nice to have pages on popular 22chan topics, saving some of the most popular memes and OC, unless anons prefer to keep those things ethereal of course. But in a way that's what it already is, in a chaotic way. The problem here is that that would require a bunch of work, so there have to be people willing to do it.
For now I just feel like the main page is getting a bit long/hard to navigate, that's why I made a separate OC page; some structure seems beneficial. But as you noticed it kind of sucks, I'm not a great web designer. I'd appreciate help.
But anyway, if you want to make a niniba page, please repost here the images (or links to them) to include and write the text you want to see on the site.

Poorly Made Animations Anonymous Tue 09/05/2023 2:04:49 AM 1 year ago No. 43

Have you ever noticed how often anime studios take major shortcuts when animating their shows nowadays? Even worse, many new anime series aren't even made in-house anymore but outsourced to other third-world shitholes, and even when they aren't, a lot of the new people in the industry lack the skills of previous generations...
Share and discuss any anime you remember with crappy, poorly made, or just plain weird animations that you come across.

This particular clip is from the THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: BEYOND THE BRILLIANT FUTURE! which is just another god damn awful production that drags the original IM@S franchise even further through the dirt.
This is the only clip of really weird weird animation in the entire movie. It basically looks like the animators themselves went out and filmed themselves as the characters and then decided to trace over themselves not realizing how a manly posture doesn't really fit these idols. I wonder whose ideas this was but there's way too many frames in this and in the end all of this work didn't really pay off.

holy shit your actually fucking right, this is too fucking weird/uncanny valley shit
whats with the choppy framerate? an artistic choice?
Anonymous Tue 09/05/2023 3:00:49 AM 1 year ago No. 45

I am just guessing here but because this is a movie they wanted to include a special scene where the animation was really fleshed out compared to other scenes which is how the idea of them recording themselves and then tracing over it came to be.
The thought process might have been that the more frames there are the better the animation quality will look, right? So once they recorded the clip they decided to split the frames from 30 fps to 16fps or 8 fps and then draw each single individual frame which is how you get this choppy looking frame rate.
Maybe they were too shy to hire a girl or get one of the VAs to do the scene for them which would might have yielded different results but looking at it I think the main problem is that they got tired of drawing that many frames for a single scene and got very lazy in making sure that each frame has perfect quality.

I've been wondering that, but also if it's an adaption of a western franchise.

That's obviously rotoscoped. I guess it usually does come off as uncanny. I watched Bocchi the Rock! recently and I didn't really liked how it looked there, either. I could even say it looks more like cheap CG than rotoscoping.
